Serendipity - At the Center of It All
The inspiration for this quilt was two pieces of fabric lying together by chance on my worktable. I soon realized that I have made other projects using this color combination .... and then other people's quilts and photographs using these colors started popping up. I had no idea that I like these colors so well! Hence the title. In addition to basing the quilt on colors I hadn't known I love, I also didn't plan the actual design ahead of time which is unusual for me. I chose to let the serendipity continue. It was really fun!
